Job Context

  • Improved WaSH Services to the Myanmar Refugees Population in Ukhiya Upazila, Cox`s Bazar District.
  • The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities of AssistantFinance & Accounts Officer to ensure effective implementation of accounts & admin related works maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, NGO Forum is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Improved WaSH Services project in Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar area.
  • The duration of the contract will be until October 31, 2021.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Finance and Admin Officer to maintain efficient Financial and administrative systems & procedures as well as internal control mechanisms to support the smooth running of the project.
  • Assist &maintaining proper cash control.
  • Assist to maintain books of accounts and other financial documents.
  • Check and verify bills and provide payments.
  • Prepare Vat & Tax and summary sheet
  • Support to timely and effective follow-up on audit observations and recommendations.
  • Support to Employee Leave Management and documentation as per NGOF HRP & P.
  • Assist to manage administrative compliance throughout the project.
  • Assist to manage the security personnel and follow up the cleanliness & security system of the project office.
  • Keep update administrative records of the organization for Project office.
  • Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project team.
  • Sound knowledge of essential software like MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint Access, E-mail browsing and finance & accounts related software is required

Educational Requirements

  • MBA / Masters in Accounting / Finance / Management from reputed university

Experience Requirements

  • 3 to 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Development Agency, NGO

Additional Requirements

  • Age 32 to 45 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Experience in checking bills, vouchers, Book-keeping, Tally software, Maintaining different registers
  • Knowledge on office administration
  • Knowledge on HR & Admin, Staff counseling, Staff management
  • Supporting enabling working environment
  • Sound knowledge of essential software like MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint Access, E-mail browsing and finance & accounts related software is required
