The International Anti-Corruption day has been observed on December 9 to raise awareness on the importance of a corruption-free society. The theme for this year is "Uniting the world against corruption".

The Day celebrated on a large scale in 8 divisions, 64 districts and 495 upazilas of the country, including the capital Dhaka.Which includes anti-corruption cartoon exhibitions, human chains, seminars and discussion meetings across the country.  Different Government and private organizations,different International & National NGOs, prominent people of society, social organizations, anti-corruption committee and general public have participated.

To celebrate the day, the Anti Corruption Commission of Bangladesh had organized a Human Chain event at Head Office of Commission, Dhaka, where NGO Forum for Public Health and Bangladesh Water Integrity Network (BAWIN) participated in the human chain. The Director General of Anti-Corruption Commission delivered the welcome speech and participated in the human chain.
