On 14 December,2022, The Honorable Ambassador of German, Mr. H.E. Achim Tröster, Bangladesh Desk Coordinator, German Federal Foreign Office, Mr. Mario Györi along with UNHCR representative in Bangladesh, Mr. Johannes van der Klaauw visited NGO Forum UNHCR Projects different programmatic activities in Camp 4 Ext, Camp 5, and Camp 1E.

The Honorable Ambassador visited the mega FSTP of Camp-4 Ext which is one of the biggest Fecal Sludge Treatment plants in the Refugee response. The Executive Director of NGO Forum Mr. S. M. A. Rashid welcomed them. He was briefed about the operational process of this sludge treatment plant during the visit.

Later the Honorable Ambassador visited the Jute bag Production center of Camp-5. He visited the different units of these production centers and was briefed about the diversified jute products produced by refugee women. He also visited SuLMER project activities in camp 1E and he was briefed about the motivation behind the designing of this project activity and the importance of this project for ensuring a sustainable environment. The ambassador expressed his contentment prior to the visit.
