NGO Forum has been implementing a project "Resilient, Inclusive & Innovative Cities in Bangladesh" at Mymensingh City Corporation funded by Australian Aid with technical support from OXFAM. The Project focuses on WASH, Disaster Resilience, and Livelihood. Through RIICB, NGO Forum is committed in building model WASH Blocks which promotes inclusivity at the very core.

Such a model public WASH Block has been constructed at a busy area in Mymensingh City Corporation which receives a lot of crowd as it is just outside the Bangladesh Agriculture University. The public WASH Block has gender segregated toilet facilities along with a ramp which enables it to be accessible by Persons with Disabilities.

The Honorable Mayor of Mymensingh City Corporation, Mr. Ekramul Haque Titu inaugurated the WASH Block today, 26th of June, 2023, and thanked NGO Forum on taking such an initiative for the people and stressed on the necessity of such inclusive WASH Blocks in the public areas.

The Honorable Mayor also spoke about how important the presence of hygienic toilets are in this day and age and also that the WASH Block needs to be kept clean for users to use it happily.
