On 29 May 2024, NGO Forum for Public Health has initiated a new project ‘Implementation of water and sanitation integrity projects in Bangladesh’ with the Rangpur City Corporation (RpCC).

The Water Integrity Network (WIN), Berlin, Germany, funds this project.  The project inception meeting held today at the RpCC Conference Room, Rangpur with the presence of Panel Mayor Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman Monju, Ward Commissioner (25 No. ward) and President of Water and Electricity Steering Committee, RpCC Mr. Nurunnobi Fulu, respective staffs and relevant stakeholders. Regional Manager of NGO Forum Mr. Shah Md. Ahsan Habib facilitated the programme. Mr. Muhammad Saiful Islam, the Project Coordinator & Head of Communications and Resource Mobilization, NGO Forum presented the project overview, Mr. Kazi Monir, WIN Consultant in Bangladesh and AKM Nazrul Haque, NGO Forum’s Coach on Integrity Management detailed out the Integrity Management Tools (IM Tools). In the open discussion, Assistant Engineer- Water Supply, Mr. Sazzadur Rahman; Assistant Waste Management Officer and other participants expressed their positive impression on the project. This project aims to implement both in Rangpur and in Mymensingh City Corporations.
