Project Objective & Goal :

Promoting sustainable development in the WASH & livelihood sector in the coastal belt communities with climate change adaptation with Water Supply and Hygeninc Sanitation. 

Benefits of the project. There is clear evident at community level for water supply & sanitation which integrated with positive impact on livelihood of the targeted communities. These are mainly focused on water and sanitation sector, community mobilization and diversified livelihood options of the communities.

  • Focused on hygiene behavior at the community and household levels. Women and girls have improved their hygiene practices as well as ensured water quality to reduced contamination.
  • Provided safe and accessible water within close proximity to the village, women use their time on a very effective manner for betterment of livelihood and engaging in income-generating activities.
  • Create awareness to community people on gender equality and social inclusion.
  • Improved the social status and community infrastructure, while increasing the adaptive capacity of vulnerable coastal communities
  • Enhanced the livelihoods of vulnerable communities by improving access to resources and building capacity for climate-resilient practices to ensure long-term economic stability and well-being.
